This adorable cottage is just 4 blocks from Main Street on a quiet residential, tree-lined street. Easy access to bike rentals, shops, coffee bistros, restaurants, theatre, the lake, golf course etc. Walk to everything. Niagara-on-the-Lake is a town in southern Ontario. It sits on the shores of Lake Ontario, at the mouth of the Niagara River. It's known for its wineries and the Shaw Festival, a series of theatre productions. The flower-filled, tree-lined Old Town features 19th century buildings, mainly along Queen Street. Near the river, 19th century Fort George was built by the British to defend against American attacks.

Other Details to Note
This cottage was built some time ago. It is somewhat historic given the area was part of the war of 1812. The property was a former vineyard and grapes still grow. In fall, we have two large apple trees with fruit to take home. - We live in the country and there are bugs in all seasons. This does not mean our home is not clean! Ensure doors and any unscreened windows are closed to avoid excess bugs. - We will ask ALL guests before booking a few questions about their stay, to ensure we are community minded hosts that care for our neighbours. - Check in is SELF entry and we will not meet you on arrival. - We provide one towel and pillow per guest, a hand towel for each washroom, and face cloths. - Coffee and tea are provided. No sugars or milks.

You can easily walk to town, bakeries, the golf course, shops and restaurants. Uber is available in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We are a 1 minute walk to Queen Street and a 20 minute drive to Niagara Falls. Approximately 1.5 hours from Toronto Pearson Airport and 45 minutes from Buffalo Airport. Many local bike companies offer complimentary delivery and pick up (please enquire).
