Other Details to Note

This cottage was built some time ago. It is somewhat historic given the area was part of the war of 1812. The property was a former vineyard and grapes still grow. In fall, we have two large apple trees with fruit to take home. - We live in the country and there are bugs in all seasons. This does not mean our home is not clean! Ensure doors and any unscreened windows are closed to avoid excess bugs. - We will ask ALL guests before booking a few questions about their stay, to ensure we are community minded hosts that care for our neighbours. - Check in is SELF entry and we will not meet you on arrival. - We provide one towel and pillow per guest, a hand towel for each washroom, and face cloths.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely and comfy home. The fireplace was a wonderful amenity that took the chill out of the air that was the result of the rainy weather, and was a nice place to enjoy some local wines! We would highly recommend and hope to return to the area some day.

I don't know which part of the stay is more notable: the incredible location or the immaculate cleanliness. We stayed here in the winter, and it is perfectly walkable to Queen Street. We debated between a hotel and an Airbnb but this Airbnb made us VERY confident in our decision. The privacy was lovely and the flexibility for check-in is NOT something you can find with a hotel. AND the price was incredible, especially compared to the hotels in the area. The communication from the hosts was super reliable, and I hope to return in the summer! A charming getaway in a charming town! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My mom and I stayed here for a long weekend for her birthday and we loved it! It was the perfect size for the two of us. Quiet, cute, cozy, and a great location. It was a perfect calm spot to hang out after a long day. The hosts were also very welcoming, and made sure we had a nice time.
