Niagara-on-the-Lake is a town in southern Ontario. It sits on the shores of Lake Ontario, at the mouth of the Niagara River. It's known for its wineries and the Shaw Festival, a series of theatre productions. The flower-filled, tree-lined Old Town features 19th century buildings, mainly along Queen Street. Near the river, 19th century Fort George was built by the British to defend against American attacks.

- the owners of this home live in the house next door to the property. - We only accept guests who have their Government ID verified with Airbnb. - This home is on a rural road. No sidewalks. - We live in the country and there are bugs in all seasons. This does not mean our home is not clean! Ensure doors and any unscreened windows are closed to avoid excess bugs. - We will ask ALL guests before booking a few questions about their stay, to ensure we are community minded hosts that care for our neighbours. - Check in is SELF entry and we will not meet you on arrival. - We provide one towel and pillow per guest, a hand towel for each washroom. - Lawn mowing in season happens once per week. This may happen during your stay. - Coffee and tea are provided. No sugars or milks.

Uber is available in Niagara-on-the-Lake, albeit slow at times. We are a 7 minute drive to the Old Town main tourist area on Queen Street and a 20 minute drive to Niagara Falls. Approximately 1.5 hours from Toronto Pearson Airport and 45 minutes from Buffalo Airport. Many local bike companies offer complimentary delivery and pick up of rentals (please enquire).
