Niagara-on-the-Lake is a town in southern Ontario. It sits on the shores of Lake Ontario, at the mouth of the Niagara River. It's known for its wineries and the Shaw Festival, a series of theatre productions. The flower-filled, tree-lined Old Town features 19th century buildings, mainly along Queen Street. Near the river, 19th century Fort George was built by the British to defend against American attacks.

Exactly where you want to be located in the heart of Niagara wine country, our home is walking distance to everything in Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake. This home is well loved, and was our family home. Furniture may have wear and tear from use, but the same furniture as pictured is in the home. This home also rents as a two bedroom option in the down season. Please see our duplicate listing. Complemented with WIFI, cable TV, free parking for up to 3 cars, BBQ and more! - We live in the country and there are bugs in all seasons. This does not mean our home is not clean! Ensure doors and any unscreened windows are closed to avoid excess bugs. - We will ask ALL guests before booking a few questions about their stay, to ensure we are community minded hosts that care for our neighbours. - Check in is SELF entry and we will not meet you on arrival. - We provide one towel and pillow per guest, a hand towel for each washroom, and face cloths.

Niagara during our visit was cold and wet but not our home for 5 days — 229 Victoria. We extremely enjoyed our stay there. The place has this certain warmth and charm that feels like home. It was well equipped — everything we needed was there from kitchen items, cooking condiments to toiletries. The sheets were soft and clean. The whole place was amazingly spotless! It was hard to leave the place as it feels like you were home. The location was perfect as well. It was a stone’s throw away from the center where lovely shops and cozy restaurants are located. To the owner of 229 Victoria, Erica, good job! We will certainly recommend your place to our family and friends!

very comfortable house, sofas were super comfortable for everyone to snuggle in, bedrooms had lots of storage and comfortable beds, kitchen was fully stocked, can't beat the location, in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood but just one block from all the shops and restaurants. highly recommend!!!

Perfect location in NOTL walkable to restaurants, shops, and bars but also set in a neighborhood with sidewalks. We absolutely loved the house and our host(s) was fantastic and checked in on us to make sure our stay was fantastic. Christmas time in NOTL is just awesome. We have arranged our trip around the annual Christmas Parade the last two years... this place checkes all the boxes.

We truly enjoyed our stay. We traveled with our three small pets and Erica was very accommodating. We reserved the house for a party of six, but weather impacted our entire group joining us right away. Due to challenges with the weather, Erica was even flexible enough to allow us to extend check out an additional hour, although we did not end up needing it. The house matched the photos and descriptions, and the house is very well maintained and cared for. We were especially happy with how close the house was to the center of town, literally just a few steps from Queen Street. We do plan to travel back to the area at some point and would definitely stay at one of Erica’s properties again and would also recommend to others. The local restaurants and wineries are worth making another trip back to visit.

My family and I had a lovely stay at Erica’s place! It was truly the perfect location to walk to everything you need and more in N.O.T.L. Great restaurants, shops, a park with a playground for kids, the grocery store and of course the lake! We loved sitting out on the front patio and enjoying the fall leaves and friendly neighbors walking by. The house was quiet and comfortable with plenty of space inside and amenities for our family to relax and enjoy! Highly recommend!!!

Absolutely stunning property. From the moment the booking was made the experience was perfect. Professional , pleasant and responsive- probably the best hosts we will ever come across. The house is pristine in every room. The location could not be better. Steps from the Main Street, but still private and quiet. We’ll absolutely be back again. 10/10 in every single aspect.

Erica was such a lovely host - always responsive and checking in on our group and asking if we needed anything. Her recommendations for places to eat were great. The location allowed us to easily walk to multiple shops and restaurants. We also loved the outdoor spaces at the house to sit and enjoy wine or coffee. The house was very clean with comfy beds. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this house to anyone we know!

Uber is available in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We are a 1 minute walk to Queen Street and a 20 minute drive to Niagara Falls. Approximately 1.5 hours from Toronto Pearson Airport and 45 minutes from Buffalo Airport. Many local bike companies offer complimentary delivery and pick up of rentals (please enquire).
