Neighborhood

Niagara-on-the-Lake is a town in southern Ontario. It sits on the shores of Lake Ontario, at the mouth of the Niagara River. It's known for its wineries and the Shaw Festival, a series of theatre productions. The flower-filled, tree-lined Old Town features 19th century buildings, mainly along Queen Street. Near the river, 19th century Fort George was built by the British to defend against American attacks.

Other Details to Note

- There are pillars in the driveway to prevent hitting of gas line. Take note when pulling in and backing out. - Due to the age and historic nature of the home, there is a slight “slanted” feeling in the upper hallway. The stairs are also original and can be steep. Handrail is provided. - We live in the country and there are bugs in all seasons. This does not mean our home is not clean! Ensure doors and any unscreened windows are closed to avoid excess bugs. - We will ask ALL guests before booking a few questions about their stay, to ensure we are community minded hosts that care for our neighbours. - Check in is SELF entry and we will not meet you on arrival. - We provide one towel and pillow per guest, a hand towel for each washroom, and face cloths.

This was a great place! Comfortable, quiet and steps away from town. We were able to walk everywhere. To shops, restaurants and theaters and parks. The home was clean and well furnished. We would like to stay there on our next trip to NOTL.

The two story house was a perfect place for my sister and I. It was our first time in Niagara on the Lake. The house was conveniently located to many restaurants and shops and enabled us to enjoy the area by walking around. The home was very comfortable and quiet. I would definitely want to stay here again when in the area.

Really lovely space and was in the perfect location. Extremely walkable to everything as it was just a block off of queen street. The space fit 3 guests beautifully and Erica and Brianna were super responsive. We ended up getting into town early and they allowed us to park and have early access if we wanted it. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in town to visit NOTL.
